As the Director of Quality, Risk and Safety at Northeastern Nevada Regional Hospital, I lead the development and implementation of quality improvement, patient safety, and risk management strategies across the organization. I have a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with emphasis in Healthcare Administration from Idaho State University, and I am a Certified Professional in Patient Safety (CPPS). I have over 7 years of experience in quality management and accreditation, including 1.5 years as the Director of Quality and Risk at Encompass Health in Waco, TX and 3 years as the Quality Management - Accreditation Specialist at St. John's Health in Jackson, WY. I successfully applied the ISO 9001 Quality Management System principles to help St. John's Health become ISO 9001 certified, and I have conducted multiple internal process audits to identify and address high-priority concerns. I have strong experience in team building, training, and leadership, and collaborating with all levels of staff and stakeholders to achieve quality initiatives and goals. I am passionate about improving the quality, safety, and satisfaction of patient care, and I am committed to continuous learning and innovation in the healthcare field.
