As a Lieutenant at the United States Capitol Police, I have dedicated 29 years of my career to protecting and serving the Congress, its legislative process, and the public. I have extensive experience in security operations, crime scene investigation, civil disturbance management, and emergency response.Currently, I am the Special Response Group training Commander and the day shift Special Operations Division Commander, overseeing a team of highly skilled and trained officers and agents. I am also a certified instructor in various less lethal weapons, chemical agents, distraction devices, batons, pepperball, and FN-303. I am a certified federal firearms instructor and a member of the Washington Metropolitan Council of Governments Civil Disturbance Working Group. My mission is to ensure the safety and security of the Capitol complex and its visitors, and to provide the best possible training and support for my colleagues.
