I played a major role in helping to bring in a $100,000 kitchen appliance sale to the Oak Creek, WI Menards Cabinets and Appliances Department. I easily adapt to learning new product knowledge and specialized computer programs like: 2020 Design Software, WTS Paradigm, Workbrain, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite. Until recently, I managed new homeowner accounts as a Relocation Manager with Safe Haven Security, an ADT authorized dealer. I worked directly with new homeowners offering security systems through a door-to-door sales approach. Directly before this position, I worked full-time at Menards in the Plumbing and Housewares department where I directly sold to guests looking to remodel their homes. I also helped to maintain and control inventory levels for the department by creating a way to effectively control an entire aisle of jeans. This enabled accurate inventories and maintained stocked shelves. In management at Menards I have also been a part of winning several sales awards including the top 5 increase in average sale per guest for 2010, the top 5 increase in sales over projections for 2010, and the Top 5 increase in sales over last year for 2010.My attention to detail is what has allowed me to succeed in those positions. I have a BS from Michigan Technological University in Business Administration with a Concentration in Accounting. I began taking classes at Gateway Technical College in Information Technology with the purpose to take certification tests within the field.
