My work has directly contributed to clear organisational benefits with direct financial impacts.During my time at IP Australia:- I've written code, reviewed code, packaged and shipped code as a full-stack and integration developer.- I've worked hands-on with on-premise, cloud-based and cloud-deployed technologies, including VueJS, Mulesoft, Pega, Spring Boot, AWS (EKS, Lambda and ECS), Dynatrace, Oracle and PostgresQL- I've led several multi-disciplinary teams through more than 40 code releases, the majority of which delivered on time and to a degree of quality I've seen in few teams- I've developed processes and procedures to improve the productivity of a team of 20+ technologists, the majority of whom I was directly involved in selecting through competitive processes- I've identified opportunities for improvement in broader processes and architecture and worked to turn those opportunities into realistic and achievable outcomes- I've reviewed security reports and provided advice to management regarding technical and business risk, including actionable mitigations.- I've integrated Dynatrace and OTEL distributed tracing into multiple technologies and leveraged it to perform root-cause analysis and performance optimisation- I've upgraded multiple Spring Boot applications from Spring 2.1 to 3.2 and Java 8 to Java 17- I've provided regular and ongoing advice to delivery management and developer alike as we worked toward our common goals.It's been a heck of a ride!
