I currently just obtained a new role as an Installation Supervisor for Kapsch TrafficCom USA. I am excited about this new opportunity and look forward to growing within this role and company.My prior role with Conduent as a Maintenance and Installation Manager gave me the opportunity in FDOT site management including coordination with subcontractors for gantry installations. At Computer Aid Inc., contracted with the Florida Department of Transportation, I obtained many technical skills during my time with FDOT. I started as an electronics technician where I would troubleshoot the lane equipment remotely or in the field. In this role, I would perform PMs on the equipment and correct issues when faults occur. Also, work would include replacement, wiring, cable pulling, and CCTV maintenance. I was able to advance quickly to become a toll systems specialist. I would troubleshoot the IDRIS system used for vehicle classification, this includes using software to analyze data, update configuration files within the IDRIS system, and on-site inductive loop testing/repair/replacement. I had the opportunity to be the lead IDRIS system subject matter expert across the entire turnpike system of the state of Florida. My role in the operations field at Walt Disney World involved communication skills managing the operation overnight as there were no managers nearby at times, giving me the skills of leadership as well. Operations at Disney also demonstrated problem solving skills as I mentioned before, and working overnight I had little management support, therefore I needed to come up with a solution myself to satisfy a customer or guest. Prior to that, I was a stockroom/product coordinator at Walt Disney World's largest merchandise location World of Disney. I strongly believe in hard work, working for what I want to accomplish, and open to learning new things to better my career. I am also very strong in mathematics and while pursuing my degree, problem solving was key to everything in engineering such as solving for theoretical data to compare with experimental data and writing a conclusion on those results. My last few semesters of college, my partner and I did a project on a solar powered car with an embedded Arduino system and created a professional technical report.
