I was born in South Africa, and spent my first 18 years in the Haenertsburg area, Limpopo. From 2004-2006 completed a BA Degree in Brand Communication in Johannesburg. Following that I spent 2 years in the UK while deciding on my future interests. A career as a pilot has always been my primary interest, and eventually decided to pursue the dream in 2008. I Completed the Commercial Pilots License In January 2013, and was later employed by Mack Air Botswana where I currently work. The company's primary focus is charter flights for the safari tourism industry around Okavango Delta, Northern Botswana. Freight transport and scenic flights are also included in the operation. After 2 years of flying piston aircraft, I'm now flying the Cessna Caravan 208b turboprop.My wife Sarah and I have a 2 year old boy, Aaron. We are an adventurous outdoors family, and whilst easily adaptable to city environments, love the idea of living and working near bush or coastal locations.In my ever growing passion for the industry, I would really like to progress onto larger Twin Turbine and eventually Jet Aircraft.
