As a passionate foodie and designer, I self-designed my collegiate area of concentration entitled "Promoting Youth Wellness, Behavior, Policy," which enabled me to explore possibilities to promote change in food, farming, and health systems. I am interested in the myriad factors that influence our health and I have come to live by the mantra "food is medicine" and believe that while America is great at sick care, we really need to focus on our efforts on improving true health care. I relentlessly strive to apply my interest in food, health, and design to create products and solutions that enable people to be healthier more efficiently.I currently work as a New Ventures Lead @ Healthworx Studio where we are incubating new healthcare companies to fundamentally change the way that healthcare is delivered.
