• Actively tracked and reported on emerging trends in the consumer brand space including but not limited to major public events and their impact on consumers, shifting demographics both nationally and at a micro-level, and economic sentiments amongst different consumer groups. • Conducted competitor and client research to identify whitespaces where Touchstone could launch new-to-market designs and win as a first mover. One such space was the fully-recycled accessory space where Touchstone will launch a new D2C brand by Q4 2024.• Identified and developed strategies for profitable growth including spearheading the development of a new sustainability initiative aiming to transition the company’s metal sourcing to 80% recycled metals within the next five years. As a part of this, I have worked collaboratively with clients of Touchstone to ensure their needs are still met while we transition to a cleaner means of production.

• Worked under Dr. Mungai Mutonya in collaboration with faculty from the University of Nairobi to develop and translate surveys designed to gauge popular sentiment about migrants to better understand the impact of international immigration and demographic change on the colloquial language of “Sheng” in Nairobi, Kenya.• Conducted quantitative analyses of survey data using R and subsequently described and presented these findings in a digestible and concise manner.

• Organized and managed new and existing community partnerships with local St. Louis organizations and businesses such as a local BIPOC artist group and the local governments of the region.• Engaged with public and private officials to advocate for changes in housing and houseless policy in Missouri.• Redesigned the organization’s public communications infrastructure and established a cohesive digital work platform for unified communications, scheduling, and data storage.
