Civil engineering student with real-world industry experience. Passionate about structural design and consulting. I expect to graduate in April 2025 from Brigham Young University - Idaho with an emphasis in structures.I've completed three structural design internships throughout my undergrad. I've learned a lot about the industry, and how to create positive outcomes for clients. My design background is largely in steel and wood, but I have also designed some masonry buildings. My structural experience has involved large-scale industrial projects, wood-frame house remodels, commercial buildings, and other projects. Having worked in the construction industry, I have a unique perspective on designing and detailing wood structures. I spent a summer break on a framing crew and framed custom homes. This has been an excellent launchpad for my current career as a young engineer.I have strong Revit skills, and have experience in AutoCAD. I love seeing a plan set come together and producing clean drawings. Strong attention to detail has always been a trait of mine. I'm confident that I would be a great asset to your company.
