I am a certified Level II NDT Inspector with experience in multiple disciplines. Although I currently work in the aerospace industry, I also have several years of experience working in the gas and oil field. I began my NDT career in 2013, where I was ASNT certified as a Level II Inspector in Magnetic Particle and Liquid Penetrant Inspections; more recently, I also acquired my NAS 410 certifications in the same techniques. Switching industries has exposed me to a wide range of tools and techniques, as well as materials and procedures. From working in the field using predominantly coils, yokes and visible penetrant, to working in shops using magnetic benches and fluorescent penetrant, I bring a unique perspective each day. I am an aspiring Level III candidate, and I plan on eventually developing my skills in writing procedures, tailoring my company's daily operations to increase efficiency, and maybe even developing new talent into competent Level II Inspectors. I have proven myself as an asset to each company I have worked with and I am always looking for opportunities to grow and learn. The journey has been interesting and humbling, as there are always emerging techniques and the industry is as dynamic as ever, but this also makes experience and expertise invaluable.
