Before finishing school, spent the summer gaining experience on a large scale construction site. Learned daily, weekly, and monthly environmental monitoring tasks such as surface water sampling, soil quality sampling, and air monitoring. Also, attending meetings with other mine departments to access the overall progress of the mine’s development.

During my time spent at Waterloo Brewing I really emerged as a very sociable person. Working craft beer events with a small team of like minded people. It was important to organize ourselves to successfully work long hour weeks while talking to new people and making new connections everyday.
