I'm an engineer by training, a leader by choice, and a father of three perfect little monsters. My passion is to find ways to improve healthcare. My interest is in novel technologies that will lead to better health outcomes while decreasing healthcare costs.I founded a company that seeks to do just that. PhotoniCare is developing technology at the front lines of healthcare designed to improve outcomes and save costs. Our first focus is middle ear disease, most notably middle ear infections, the most common cause for hearing loss and surgery in children. Please contact me if you share my passion-- I'm always interested in meeting new people and learning about new projects.Some of my business expertise includes business model development, leadership, fundraising, grant writing, team building, strategic planning, negotiation, technology licensing, international distribution agreements, and KOL relationship building.Some of my technical expertise includes optical imaging, optical coherence tomography, microscopy, photoacoustic imaging, and handheld instrument design.When I can squeeze it in, I love mountain biking and playing guitar, mandolin, and occasionally other instruments.
