While at Keurig I worked to identify the best supplier(s) for our marketing teams and lead vendor/agency negotiations.My strategic responsibilities included managing relationships with suppliers (including supplier evaluations and reviews), soliciting quotes, negotiating pricing, specifying and confirming materials for any goods required, and monitoring deadlines and shipping requirements. I'm also responsible for maintaining a healthy supplier portfolio, seeking out new supplier relationships, and proactively participating in problem resolution.My tactical responsibilities included structuring contracts to ensure they're compliant within the overall standards and policies of Keurig Green Mountain, preparing purchase orders, acquiring approvals, approving invoices, and monitoring service receipts.

As a buyer at Havas I created schedules using marketplace and third party research data to achieve an effective media schedule. When building schedules I looked at historical rate structures and current/future market conditions to ensure that rate integrity was maintained. I worked closely with my supervisors and planning team to continuously monitor and adjust media schedules based on performance feedback from clients. Responsibilities beyond buying included evaluating media opportunities to help determine agency POV recommendations and developing and maintaining relationships with vendor account executives to establish marketplace expertise in the local ad community.

As a buyer I developed a deeper understanding of client businesses and agency processes. I used industry research, media software and systems, and agency resources to deliver maximum value and accuracy on client buys. I developed strong relationships with sales vendors and internal agency departments that allowed me to deliver the best service possible to my clients. I organized and ran the day to day business on small accounts. As a buyer I really sharpened my multi-tasking and prioritizing skills to take full ownership of my desk. Being well organized and paying attention to every detail helped me be successful in my role. Staying hungry, never giving up and getting creative really allowed me to take my work to the next level.

Assisted Associate Media Directors with all client needs. This included researching of new markets, target audiences and potential media platforms. Executed planning and placement of media campaigns, and negotiated terms and rates of contracts for clients. Maintained existing sales accounts with current clients by tracking media campaigns from start to finish. This included holding media platforms to the negotiated contract and ensuring that GRP (gross rating points) goals were met. I also sent out weekly status reports to the media department.

Promoted and helped organize events both for clients and for Clear Channel. Executed and supported on site events in a variety of settings including, retail locations, conventions, restaurants and concerts. Assisted behind the scenes at concerts sponsored by the station.
