My role as an HR Generalist at Platinum Pro-Claim requires versatility, knowledge and skill in various aspects of HR on a day-to-day basis. Several of my responsibilities and achievements include: - Advising managers and members of upper management on various legislation, including employment law, human rights law, and OH&S regulations. - Supporting managers with their hiring needs through workforce planning for several different departments, including Carpentry, Cabinetry, Emergency Services, such as Flood and Contents, Warehouse, Project Management, and various business administrative departments. - Enhanced diversity and inclusion (DI) in the recruitment process by partnering with various local (Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley) community employment services leading to a more diverse applicant pool and higher employee representation for minority groups.- Developing and implementing onboarding programs for new hires. Several successful implementations of 90-day onboarding programs include entry-level Project Management positions, general labourer positions, and department managers. - Oversaw the successful implementation of a new orientation program for all incoming Platinum Pro-Claim staff leading beneficial new hire (>1 year) retention and turnover rates. - Oversaw claims mgmt and led the Joint Health and Safety Committee for two years by holding monthly safety meetings and implementing employee-involved accident investigations and site inspections and committee-led safety training programs. Such program helped in mitigating young-worker accident frequency and Platinum Pro-Claim's WCB experience rating. - Provided HR consulting and coaching to Platinum Pro-Claim's parent company, Pro-Claim Group, along with various sister companies (Downs Construction in Victoria, BC, Paulson Fire and Flood in Cranbrook, BC, and Pro-Star Cleaning and Restoration in Calgary, AB.).

I perform a variety of duties which include, stock management of products, providing excellent customer service to bar patrons and demonstrating efficient cashier skills. However, the most important goal of my job is to provide excellent customer service for all patrons, whether that be providing answers to any questions they might have, greeting customers or offering my personal expertise on products.

The daily goal of this job was to meet the day-to-day needs of the public. My crews' core job duty is creating and maintaining all grass soccer and rugby fields in Richmond for all Youth and Adult leagues to play on. Along with this, we are also responsible for the safety of children's playgrounds where we would inspect and fix any problems to provide families with a great experience and safety at any playgrounds in Richmond. While performing my duties, I always strive to give the absolute best customer service and proudly represent a positive image for the City of Richmond to the public.
