I've been lucky to have worked with SG Home Builders from the very beginning in 2007. Over the years I have overseen budgets of paint and carpet rehabs, full gut rehabs, additions, de-conversion of multi-family homes to single family and building brand new homes from the ground up. In 2007 our project proposals were nothing more than a shot from the hip over a 20 minute walk through with our contractors, a step above a napkin proposal. Today with our custom projects we take the time time to understand the scope of work and the needs of our clients. We make sure to identify each selection item that will be needed to turn the designed project dream into a reality. As my clients quickly figure out, my background is financial and less in the trades of construction. I am very lucky to work with an amazing construction manager, Greg Jensik, our admin Renata Poplawski (who keeps me in line), and our newest member and designer coordinator Danielle Harmon that brings the professionalism to our company we have been missing. I would not be able to bound around without these amazing individuals running the show and pushing for new heights daily.

In my first eight years with SG Home Builders I took on the role as a Finance Director. Working with a small company the title that I had and thus my role in the company on any given day could have been, Salesmen, Accountant, Marketing Director, Processing Manager, Administrative Assistant, Intern, Vice President, General Contractor, Human Resources Director, Research and Development Director, etc. I took on many roles, but I always prided myself on my ability to organize the financial side of the business. I learned over the years the importance of having a knowledge of your financial situation at all times and with all projects on an individual level. I also learned the importance of not trying to recreate the wheel each time you want to track things. The bigger tasks that I have always handled involved the analysis of market trends, and developing systems to track our budgeting on a microscopic level. Our budgeting for our speculative sales when we started the company in 2007 was not very complex and we allowed our contractors to give us quotes without any knowledge or tracking of where the money was being spent. Over the years we developed an understanding for the construction business and implemented quality control systems to track the money being spent down to the penny. I will always take pride in developing new systems to help track the process and the funding of real estate development projects. I believe it is the evolution process that we had to go through that has allowed us to share our services with the general public for those clients looking for a custom construction project. We would not have been able to offer these services when we started in 2007 because of our lack of knowledge.

I utilize the MLS for research with my role in construction to analyze home addition and new construction projects for potential clients. I also am able to keep versed in market trends and keep an eye out for potential lots for my clients that are looking for potential property to build on. As a loan officer I am able to use the MLS for a quick references on home values and tax information to assure I have the accurate information needed for my clients. I moved my license to Cardoni RE Development as they provided a flexible option for me to keep my license active and I have a great working relationship with the owner, Pat Cardoni, my former partner at SG Home Builders.

I've had my loan officer license since 2007. In 2020 I started to actively write loans again. My role at GO Mortgage is to help clients analyze the right mortgage for their family. GO Mortgage may have one of the best systems for a mortgage company in the industry. Their ability to utilize technology, offer low rates and costs, and provide top level mortgage analysis on the front line gives them a unique advantage. The use of technology, and an in house processing team gives me to opportunity to utilize my knowledge in assisting clients with one of the biggest financial decisions they will make. Combine that with the cost options GO Mortgage offers, it makes my ability to communicate with clients the perfect fit for our clients.

At Insider Show Homes I am able to leverage my knowledge of the home buying process to help first time homebuyers understand what steps they need to take to achieve the goal of homeownership. Early in my career with SG Home Builders we were marketing many homes for sale to first time homebuyers. I realized that there was a lack of education available for clients looking to purchase their first time. I also realized that taking the time to understand the client needs and what information they were lacking allowed us to connect them to the loan officers that can help with financial review, and homebuyer counseling so they further understand the process of becoming a homeowner. I have developed relationships with other investors that have an inventory of homes priced for first time homebuyers that I currently market. My goal is to meet with prospective homebuyers and provide them a roadmap towards their journey of becoming a homeowner as their Realtor.
