I was responsible for the scheduling and upkeep of 30+ sites around Melbourne. Our sites are primarily constructed wetlands but also include constructed grasslands and various other landscapes.I was also responsible for managing the crews that undertake these tasks as well as the supplies required to facilitate the works. On top of this I liased with clients and provided quotes for minor jobs. I also managed operations at our nursery and sourced plants for all jobs.

My role involved scoping, costing, planning, resourcing and management of NRM projects. I am proficient in monthly cost forecasting and budgeting as well as stakeholder engagement to successfully deliver the specified outcomes.I have delivered projects ranging from bushland regeneration, wetland rectification and pest control as well as managing trials of new herbicide reduction techniques.All projects were delivered on time and within budget with no major safety incidents.

This was my introduction to Project Management. I delivered projects from Riddells creek to Bunyip these varied from large scale planting to new long stem planting trials on the Yarra river and the installation of revegetation as per landscape plans at Dights falls.

As a leading hand I was responsible for delivering works to meet tight timelines and high OHS and Quality standards.I have worked on a variety of projects from Melbourne's western Suburbs to The Dandeonongs in the East. Usually these involved weed control and revegetation so I have an in depth knowledge of undertaking these works first hand as well as various EVC's across Melbourne.The highlight was the successful delivery of the Yarra weed control project which spanned 22km and ran for 3 years. I was responsible for managing tree crews, high risk abseiling activities, and the day to day activities on site sometimes with up to 12 people present.For this role i also gained my Heavy rigid truck licence and inland coxswains ticket to undertake these works
