I am a Professional Signal & Train Control Engineering Manager with extensive experience in system development, design, and the testing & commissioning of complex signal & train control systems utilized in metro, commuter, and freight applications. My experience provides for a comprehensive understanding of the System Engineering (SE) processes, within the different phases of the system (project) life cycle model. This includes safety critical activities, such as Safety and Security Requirements development, Design Verification, Construction Conformance Verification, and development/review of Integrated Test Plans (preferably supported by Interface Control Documents [ICD]). More recently in my career, I’ve demonstrated an ability to develop accurate, all-inclusive project documents (procurement package) for several project delivery methods (Design-Bid-Build, Design-Build, Construction Manager at Risk or General Contractor/ Construction Manager). These project documents have been used in projects varying in size, with the high end at $45M according to my latest preliminary construction cost estimate.
