I am a Litigation Paralegal at Sullivan & Cromwell in New York, gaining hands-on experience in the legal field before applying to law school in the 2024-2025 cycle. In my current role, I assist attorneys with a wide range of tasks throughout the litigation process, including document organization, preparing exhibits, and attending trial. I also assist our Intellectual Property department by conducting daily research on and summarizing recent developments in artificial intelligence, especially as they pertain to the legal field.Before moving to New York, I attended the University of Virginia where I double-majored in Physics and Political Philosophy, Policy & Law (PPL), with a minor in Russian Language. As part of the PPL program, I spent my fourth year writing a thesis for which I earned High Distinction titled "Time to Pass the Nuclear Football? An Analysis of the Alignment Between American Nuclear Command and Democratic Principles."At UVA, I served as the President of the undergraduate Mock Trial program, an activity where students prepared fictional court cases and competed with other schools across the country. During my time in the program, I won nine individual awards and was a captain of our A team in 2023 that placed fourth in the country. I also worked as a Teaching Assistant for Commercial Law, helping several hundred students per semester learn content related to constitutional law, torts, and property. Additionally, I was the Senior Resident of Balz-Dobie dorm where I oversaw a staff of 10 Resident Advisors and served as a resource to almost 200 first-year students.
