As my duties in the engineering department grew, I went to school at night and graduated from NJIT with a Masters Degree in Environmental Engineering. Upon graduation I sat for both the Fundamentals of Engineering and Principals of Engineering exams on the same weekend, passing both on the first attempt. I was responsible for organizing and administer the first track event of the season for the Vintage Sports Car Club of America.

I worked for Wm. F. Zimmerly, Inc. during High School as a draftsman in the late 1980s. When I was working for McDonald's franchisee in Virginia in 1994, Mr. Zimmerly contacted me and asked me to move back to New Jersey and join his firm. During my tenure there I was responsible for all aspects of providing boundary and topographic surveys.
