I was a key member to the team which took over the business of InterGlobe General Aviation in Mar 2011. We not only ensured the seamless transition but also delivered the smooth maintenance activities soon after takeover.Being a Sr AME-Avionics there I was responsible for supervising and executing maintenance tasks for line and base maintenance apart from managing Avionics/Battery shops. My Key Responsibilities Areas are summarised below:LeadershipDaily job assignment and oversight for Junior AME’s, aircraft technicians and Interns providing clear directions, feedback, guidance and support for maintenance or modification of aircraft allocated to them. Management of allocated manpower and resources to ensure timely completion of maintenance and modifications of assigned aircraft within budgetary expectations. Work with the Line Maintenance managers(LMM)/Base Maintenance Managers(BMM) and Director-Engineering to coordinate the day to day activities, provide day to day oversight as required and act as a key point of contact as a subject matter expert.Work with the LMM/BMM to allocate manpower to support Hangar projects and AOGCommunicate any resource issues to the LMM/BMM/Director maintenanceMaintenance Operations:Daily management and control of assigned project (s), ensuring all work is progressively inspected and certified.Respond to AOG’s as required.Ensure that every single man hour gets recorded before the end of each work day.Ensure spare parts are correctly ordered at correct timeframe to meet project deadlines whilst maintaining appropriate inventory levels within the Service Centre.Request Unscheduled Cards to be raised for additional work through the Projects/ Planning department.Completed projects are certified correctly, provided to Projects/ Planning department for process of log book and invoices at project completion.Provide input into quotations and estimates for line maintenance and modifications.

As a lead avionics engineer for Hawker Beechcraft aircrafts entrusted the responsibility to get existing business sustained through quality maintenance and maintenance system process improvements.Participated in the production meeting to ensure that work flow remains uninterrupted for the want of necessary resources.Ensured that the correct inputs are provided to business development team to get new businesses.Handled AOG situations at a very short notices with minimal turn around time.Supported third party aircrafts/warranty work being Authorised Service Center for Hawker Beechcarft.
