As an Impact Equity Fund Manager, I was responsible for leading impact portfolio idea generation, detailed sustainability analysis, and monitoring of investments using in-house research and variety of third-party systems. Responsible for spearheadng all facets of ESG research and integration of findings into investment decision-making processes. Major Duties:Conducting in-depth sustainability research, corporate engagement, and reporting across equity, fixed-income, and multi-asset portfolios via in-house and third-party ESG tools, formulating sustainable investment philosophy and framework, adopted across all Aegon Asset Management's operations, generating organisational sustainability narrative and range of sustainable investment products to multiple investors across Europe, UK and the US, preparing presentations on sustainable investing to a variety of audiences including asset owners and investment consultants, and creating unique marketing collateral, including client presentations, stock stories, 'sustainability soapbox' aKey Accomplishments:● Drove sustainable investment product development for equity, fixed income, and multi-asset categories, addressing client demand and regulatory needs.● Launched UK’s first 'sustainability improvers' fund, Kames Global Sustainable Equity, based on empirical research and innovative investment strategy.● Secured AAM’s first US-based equity investor and a £200M Global Sustainable Equity segregated mandate by leading investor engagement and strategy development.● Screening and marketing of AAM’s £1.5Bn Ethical Fund range, one of UK’s most successful responsible investing franchises.● Contributed significant efforts towards execution of industry-wide collaborative ESG initiatives, including Climate Action 100+, UK Investor Forum etc.
