Supporting local and remote users with their technology needs. PC Configuration and Support:Ordering, imaging, connecting to the network through Active Directory. Configuring for up to150 individual users and their specific needs. Maintaining, updating/upgrading as needed, as well as troubleshooting and performing repair work or coordinating repair work with PC vendor (depending on lease agreements).Software:Ordering, installing, configuring to user needs and maintaining licenses.Servers: HP Proliant series and BluArc (HDS) NAS systemsOrdering, patching, imaging new devices, troubleshooting, managing NFS/CIFS shares, storageallocations and RAID management.Malware/Antivirus:Manually disable and remove malware from infected PCs and/or by way of anti-malware tools, Documenting procedures for future use.Back-Up and recovery:Set up and management of daily, weekly, monthly and bi-annual back-up policies using Symantec NetBackup on to tape and on to redundant storage as well as daily snapshots. File recovery as needed from Back-ups. Maintaining and troubleshooting backup devices as failure occurs.Telephony:Maintaining 150+ telephone database, making DID and configuration changes and updates to telephones as needed via Nortel PBX console. Upgraded entire office to Siemens VOIP system, Managing VOIP phones and switches, making changes through Siemens Configuration Manager and troubleshooting as needed. Migrated office to Microsoft Lync (Skype for Business) Soft phone platform,supporting head/handset devices.Misc. IT equipment: Ordering, maintaining, troubleshooting, and implementing, switches, cables, drives A/V equipment such as projectors, smartboards, user interface kiosks, PA equipment etc.Maintaining software/hardware asset databases as well as phone number database.
