I've honed my skills in incident management, critical thinking, and effective planning.In addition to my police service, I've gained extensive experience in applying medical care and incident management in more specialist fields such as event medical cover, non permissiable or challenging areas or in conjunction with specific safety risks. I've worked in a variety of settings, including events and venues, providing high-quality care in emergency situations. My experience includes working with aviation fire crews, providing solo and team medical support at large-scale events, and managing patients in challenging environments.I've recently transitioned into a consultancy role, specialising in helping event organizers and venue managers ensure safety and compliance with relevant legislation and their own policies/procedures. Through my company, Medirek, I offer a range of services including risk assessments, policy development, training, and bespoke medical team formation. My goal is to assist clients in creating safe and enjoyable events, delivering safe productions and addressing specific safety issues while navigating potentially complex regulations and mitigating potential risks whether these be environmental, human or political.I'm also passionate about advocating for responsible event and venue operators and helping businesses create a secure environment for their patrons.
