Graduated from The Christian University of Taipei, my under graduate training was based on extensive conceptual and space planning. Involved in Wynn Hotel Phase 1 marble installation at a job opportunity with a local construction firm after graduation, where my first on-site supervision experience was gained. Moving on to Paul Steelman in the following year; as a junior designer, I was gratified to be part of the former Hard Rock Casino Interior fit-out team. Assisted in the flame bar, noodle shop, cage design, etc.; in which a lot of thoughts was put in working out the feasibilities of the featured flame bar lighting structure, the large scaled wavy ceiling and the memorabilia wall. Casino design details and materials knowledge were largely acquired in this project. In the year 2009, Mushroom Design Studio was established. The aim of setting up this studio Is to popularize interior design locally; and to find a balance between design and practicality in defining space with limited resources.
