I have over 20 years of progressive experience in structural engineering with a high level of expertise in structural steel and reinforced concrete building systems. As a Senior Project Engineer/Manager, I have led major building design projects for K-12 and higher education, mixed-use/commercial, residential, healthcare, assisted living, athletic/recreational centers and community park facilities. Some of my more notable projects in Colorado include the $110 million Boulder Community Foothills Hospital Inpatient Expansion in Boulder, $20 million Colorado School of Mines Athletic Center in Golden, $43 million Balfour Cosmopolitan Club in Denver, $30 million Center PK-12 Design/Build in Center. My career began in Baltimore, Maryland where I played a significant role in the design of the prominent $300 million Hilton Baltimore City Convention Center Hotel as well as multi-million dollar mixed-use high-rise facilities anchoring the newly revitalized Inner Harbor East neighborhood. I also bring a strong background in structural analysis and design of wireless tower infrastructure and rooftop installations. I hold PE licensure in 20 states, including Alabama, Alaska, Colorado, Connecticut, Georgia, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Maryland, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Utah, and Virginia. I feel that my passion for the built environment, strong sense of technical judgment and detail-oriented nature makes me a valuable team member to any project. My wife and I relocated to Colorado in 2007 to enjoy the outdoor mountain lifestyle. We have a 12 year old daughter and 9 year old son. In my spare time, I enjoy biking, swimming, soccer, and live music.
