My role as Trips Coordinator at Camp Abnaki was split into two sets of responsibilities. Firstly, I facilitated the cooperation of Program, Food service, Maintenance, Healthcare, and Cabin Supervision Staff Members in order to ensure trips left both prepared and on schedule. Secondly, I was in charge of guiding campers and accompanying staff members on basic overnights and day hikes. During those trips, I monitored the health and safety of all individuals on trail, making sure every member got back to camp safe and sound.

A Senior Staff Member at Camp Mowglis fulfills two main roles, the first being the supervision and mentoring of children in an outdoor summer camp environment, which includes instructing them in building positive character traits as well as productive teamwork skills. Every staff member at Camp Mowglis is also an instructor in a particular area. I administered the Camp Archery ProgramIn addition, due to my background in outdoor living skills and emergency medicine, I also led multi-day backpacking trips through the beautiful White Mountains of New Hampshire. Campers were taught how to properly prepare for wilderness trips, set up campsites, cook back country meals, and enjoy the serenity of nature in accordance to the principles of Leave No Trace.

I coached young team members of the Worcester Wahoos in building their strength and endurance, as well as their competitive swimming skills. I wrote and ran daily practices for ages ranging from 7-16 and also assisted in running regional swim meets during the competitive season.
