As a child my brother and I once spent an entire afternoon hanging upside down off the couch because we each refused to lose. These days I use my competitive drive to continue to improve in whatever professional position I am undertaking.In my first ever job washing dishes at a pub, I wanted to be the best dish washer my employer had ever seen, and I've carried this drive into every area of employment I undertake. My current role at Woolworths supermarkets involves processing and handling all of the cash in the store, as well as rostering and ensuring all of the store's employees get paid. Of the over 150 staff at my Woolworths I am one of only two people trusted with this role and it is a position I take great pride in. Above all else though my passion is people, and making others happy. With over 6 years of experience in the customer service industry including retail, hospitality and sport I strive to make every work day a positive one. My boss told me once that the reason he gave me so many shifts was half due to my work ethic, and half because people always seemed happier when I was around. I take that compliment with me wherever I go, and use it as a guide for how I try to live my life.
