- Jacobs Space Operations Group holds the NASA COMET contract for the Artemis program, which provides management services for NASA KSC’s launch infrastructure and ground processing support- Worked with the Recording and Playback Subsystem (RPS) team in the Launch Control Center (LCC)- Developed and implemented an application that RPS will use for the Artemis II launch and all future Artemis missions- Experienced and worked through the full software development lifecycle- Developed, unit-tested, and debugged a multi-threaded application in C# using Microsoft Visual Studio to process and convert telemetry data from all three stages of the Artemis Launch Vehicle- My application extrapolates ethernet packet data from a user-placed Chapter 10 file, writes that data to Packet Capture (PCAP) files, and outputs those files to a user-desired destination folder. The user controls this process through a GUI that I designed using the .NET plugin for Visual Studio- My application reduced the amount of time it takes to complete this process by up to 95%

I served as the interface between the Production Client Geologist and the Drilling Company Rig Manager. Responsibilities included rock sample collections, physical, microscopic and chemical observations, data entry, detailed well logging, preparation of daily reports, and monitoring gases released from the reservoir. I Learnt how to identify sedimentary lithology in different settings, and the operation of various industry software such as NOV Rigware, Pason EDR, MainLog, and MLogger TControl as well as Terra SLS Gas Chromat Hardware.

In the summer of 2018, I worked for Helmerich & Payne Inc. as an Engineering Intern on a drilling rig in the Permian Basin. I worked as a floor hand during drill string operations and I also shadowed and assisted senior technicians during idle drilling operations. It was a very valuable work experience. I was able to observe up close the entire well drilling cycle and appreciate the amount of work and personnel required to drill and operate a well. This internship also taught me new teamwork skills, time management and effective communication skills as well as the importance of team and personal safety.
