At Cargill I helped in the processes of manufacturing of animal feed. I had many different labor extensive duties. These duties included handling and adding bag ingredients to the bulk ingredients for the mixing of different formulated feed orders. The majority of feed that was made was cattle. That being finishing feed for feedlots, dairy, and small calves. I had to supervise the safety of all truck drivers delivering and picking up orders. I unloaded bulk and bag ingredients from incoming trucks. I loaded orders on trucks picking up orders. I also did maintenance on feed mill specific equipment. I had to conduct moisture audits on all orders. I was on the safety and food safety committees from the time I was hired. I had to also keep a maintained acceptable scheduled housekeeping record. The orders of feed and ingredients coming in and out had to be entered in different types of computer programs.

My duties included learning how to design the gas lift valves to artificially lift fluid from a well energized by the well’s own natural gas. I worked with work over crews to install my company’s gas lift valves after the casings were drilled out. The tubing was then installed with the gas lift valves calculated at what depths to operate. It was my duties to calculate where the valves open and close. Also while the tubing was being put down hole, I supervised roustabout crews setting up well site (tank placement, compressor setup and placement, separation equipment, etc.). From then it was my duty to start production. I then stayed on the well to optimize production. I gathered readings on fluid and gas production once every hour every day until the company released me. I would produce the well to optimal production. I worked with different types of oil and gas production well characteristics, not just artificial gas lifts. After 6 months at, I was promoted by PCS to flow back supervisor for different gas and oil production companies. Staying on the wells and supervising other flow back was advantage for me because I could troubleshoot many different problems up hole or down hole. I can pinpoint problems on all basic production equipment such oil, gas, and water separation equipment along with many different types of compressors. I worked closely with pipeline companies, compressor mechanics, roustabout companies, and water and oil hauling companies. All gauges, meter readings, and water and oil tickets had to be recorded and entered in spreadsheets. Then had to be reported to the company. I have experience with working with Excel and Microsoft Office.

ERM stands for Environmental Resources Management. I have to make sure all state and federal compliances are met and followed. Seaboard is a hog production company. I clean sewer lines that go to the lagoons. I apply the pig affluent to different crops. It has to be measured correctlly on how much can be applied. I also apply herbicide around the farms.

I was a lease operator for EOG Resources. I was involved with the production of oil and gas from well to well. I made sure all the production was maintained or increased. I made sure my gas comnpressors stay in running condition. I learned how to maintain plunger systems to keep them cycling. With that I learned to adjust times of cycle to increase gas or oil flow. I maintained a regular preventive maintenance schedule on all pumping units to keep them operating so all possible production can be made.
