Support marketed and investigational products as well as disease state awareness initiatives as part of the MI&C team in the Respiratory therapeutic area. My primary role is providing medical information support as a member of the promotional review team and working collaboratively with cross-functional Medical and Commercial teams to develop, review, and approve strategic messaging as well as promotional branded and unbranded materials, including priority launch assets. I contribute to other Medical Affairs related support, including the development and review of branded and unbranded medical and payer materials, responding to medical inquiries from healthcare professionals, providing medical information support at Respiratory congresses, and involvement in MI&C digital initiatives like the GenAI workstream.

• Implemented, reviewed, and monitored patient-specific chemotherapeutic regimens, including supportive care, in collaboration with the healthcare team.• Served as Co-chair of the Chemotherapeutic Regimen Review Committee and led the development and standardization of chemotherapy order sets to reflect current evidence based recommendations and best practice. • Provided education/counseling regarding drug therapy directly to patients and caregivers in both the inpatient and outpatient settings. • Supported and assisted interdepartmental projects as requested (e.g., P&T monographs, newsletter articles, performance improvement activities etc.).

• Evaluated medication efficacy and safety, documented medication use patterns, monitored therapeutic goals and outcomes, reviewed medication profile and clinical history for contraindications/precautions, drug-drug, drug laboratory, and drug-disease state interactions as well as provided verbal and written consultations concerning drug therapy as requested.• Evaluated appropriate laboratory tests necessary to monitor and support the patient’s drug therapy as well as documented recommendations, interventions, and services rendered as appropriate.• Supported and assisted interdepartmental projects such as P&T drug monographs, newsletter articles and performance improvement activities.

The PGY2 Pharmacotherapy Residency program at PCP is designed to further refine skills attained during a PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Residency. The goal of the residency program is to produce a practitioner with the ability to deliver pharmaceutical care to a diverse inpatient and outpatient patient population. Resident activities will include participation as a member of a multidisciplinary team in a variety of inpatient and outpatient settings and completion of a longitudinal research project. The resident will participate in didactic and experiential education of Doctor of Pharmacy students.

The PGY1 pharmacy residency at UPMC Mercy provides training in health-system pharmacy, with the major emphasis on clinical pharmacy practice and the education and training of future pharmacists. Residents gain experience providing a wide range of pharmacotherapy and educational services to patients and health care practitioners. Residents participate in drug formulary evaluations, medication safety strategies, hospital pharmacy practice, and are members of hospital and system wide multidisciplinary initiatives.
