Management responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to: hiring, terminations, coaching, training, recognition and rewards, performance evaluation and management, discipline, addressing employee concerns and staff productivity. Plans, organizes, staffs, directs and controls specific day-to-day operations within the hub. Responsible for assigning and managing employees to ensure the safe and efficient sortation of packages through the facility, minimizing operational cost and maximizing operational quality, including the movement, tracking and administration of trailers (in conjunction with the linehaul department as applicable). Leads daily employee and/or planning meetings to ensure workforce communication and understanding of operational updates and daily goals; Includes communication and public speaking to small and large audiences on a regular basis.

Responsible for carrying out a large portion of the day to day logistics involved in running a FedEx Ground operation. Working in close coordination with management as well as many other FedEx Ground operations to help ensure a smooth operational day. Iron Pillar award as well as Top Performer of the month.Responsibilities include:Arriving, dispatching, and reconciling all inbound and outbound loads, in accordance with company policies and proceduresCommunicating trailer movement in the yard to the switchers, dock managers, and the control room. This is also including the prioritization of movement based on the impact of hub productivity.Creating and planning trips for trailers full of thousands of packages. This also includes planning when to send these trailers out, with whom to send it with, and where to send it.Upkeep of a two excel files for our inbound and outbound loads. While keeping them up to date with accurate information. Responsible for sending out an updated log to upper management every 30 minutes.

I spent one school year as an Instrumental Music Education Teacher Candidate (Student Teacher). I spent the school year teaching High School Band and High School Music classes.During my time, I gained experience teaching all ages from Pre-K to 12th grade. I spent the majority of my time teaching a High School band. At this high school, I was able to teach a wide variety of ages, classes, and skill levels.In May of 2020 I graduated with a degree in Music Education and became a licensed teacher.
