I have over seventeen years of experience in industrial fabrication within the oil and gas industry and also experience in the construction industry. I began my career in this industry as a welder / fitter, then was promoted to the health, safety and environment sector. From there, I was a Safety Technician, and then was transferred to the Quality Control Department. After years of being a Quality Control and Assurance Inspector, it was my goal to become licensed as a Certified Welding Inspector through the American Welding Society. I have a concentration in both API 1104, ASME Section 9 and AWS D1.1. As a Quality Department Team Leader, I have been an asset to my employer by supporting in the undertaking of rigorous internal and external audits to ensure the company became ASME and ISO certified. I have worked closely with various teams of inspectors to ensure the quality of multi-million dollar projects, which include the latest DNV and API certifications. Along with being certified as a welding inspector, I also have certifications in Non-Destructive Testing. Those include, 40-Hour Radiation Safety, Ultrasonic Testing, Magnetic Particle Testing, Liquid Penetration Testing, and Visual Testing. Aside from my Non-Destructive Testing experience, I am also OSHA-30 certified.
