• Led 20+ member Engineering team covering three solar markets in five states (Commercial, New Homes, and Residential markets) • Coordinated with Sales and Operations leadership to provide technical sales support, develop new product integration strategy and forecast design workload. • Managed growth, training, workflow, leadership and team infrastructure as Sales went from $3M to $15M in monthly revenues. • Developed department design tools, training and processes to successfully permit and install thousands of energy storage projects spanning five products – Tesla Powerwall2, SolarEdge StorEdge/LG Chem RESU10H, Sunverge SIS, Enphase AC Battery and JLM Energizr.• Managed CRM changeover to SalesForce. Designed and introduced individual GUI dashboards to improve workflow, display queues, and track team metrics for Designers and Team Leads.• Developed relationships and contracted with third party electrical, structural and PV design engineering firms to increase the scope of our offering and manage additional volume.• Implemented a design template with integrated electrical calculator that complied with NEC standards. Introduced software productivity features that increased completion rates four fold.

• Supervised a regional team of four PV Designers in the residential market. • Coordinated with Contract Verification, Customer Care and Interconnection teams to develop and implement an Excel based tool to standardize inter-department communication.• Developed relationships with key individuals in operations and field service to identify and address installation challenges with engineering solutions. • Built a cross team jurisdictional database to track changes to design requirements, code enforcement, and installation specifics at a city/county level.

• Met unique design challenges for over 500 grid-tied residential solar arrays for a variety of roof types. Mounting systems included flush mounted roof arrays, flat roof tilt up kits (foam, mod bit, tar and gravel), corrugated metal roof types and ground mounts. • Produced city, construction, and customer plan sets as deliverables. • Co-ordinated with utility service engineers and city plan checkers to meet unique requirements for every jurisdiction.

-A partner project with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration to improve manufacturers understanding of the hydrodynamic forces affecting biotelemetry tags in the field. -Retrofitted an existing flume to operate as a tow tank. Designed a cable and pulley power transmission system with a 'ride-on-top' carriage powered by a 3HP motor. -Designed and programmed the instrumentation system. Components included a load cell, an optical sensor programmed as an encoder and a data collection module that stored data with LabVIEW. -Performed a failure analysis then designed, specified, and installed a redundant safety system. Elements included limit switches, motor guard, and a cable triggered E-stop. -Modeled a scaled biotelemetry tag in SolidWorks, created manufacturing drawings and had the scaled model manufactured by a facility in Oregon.-Developed a data analysis solution for sorting and ordering thousands of data points into a useable and plotable format using Visual Basic and Excel Macros.

-Guided groups of six clients on day trips into the Johnstone Strait. Provided an interpretive framework to understand the biological and political systems that govern the marine environment. -Ensured the safety and enjoyment of clients by understanding daily current and weather patterns, providing basic paddling instruction and managing group dynamics.
