Lead Network Engineer in network design, troubleshooting and implementation for business acquisitions and all affiliates, both domestic and global. Oversee day-to-day scheduling of changes and troubleshooting for projects as well as designing process documentation for implementation of these changes. Design plans and configurations for bringing new acquisitions online and ensure proper connectivity between sites and data-centers. Work with onsite technicians to implement routers and devices during projects. Work with team to ensure all aspects of a project are covered to make sure implementation of connectivity, AAA, monitoring, backups of new sites is followed and added correctly. Work onsite for large projects such as office moves and datacenter equipment refreshes to ensure they are completed successfully and tested so that there are no issues for employees the following work day. Work with team to run POC’s for testing possible new SDWAN solutions. Work with third party consulting firm to develop better configuration processes to improve efficiency during acquisitions.

With this company I was key in obtaining a multi-year contract with a large oil and gas midstream provider to re-design, implement, and troubleshoot their entire network to make it a scalable and highly redundant system to run the SCADA network on top off to maintain 24/7 uptime regardless of a multi-failure situation and to propose, implement, and maintain network services solutions to the owners, executive board members, and upper management for approval. As well as, assist them in consultation and implementation of system wide policies for best practices and security of network resources.
