My current responsibilities include: -Preparing geotechnical evaluation and consulting fee proposals for potential clients. ∙ Scheduling and conducting geotechnical drilling jobs.∙ Review of laboratory and field testing.∙ Analyzing and writing slope stability reports.∙ Monitoring and recommending erosion and sedimentation control measures for construction sites.∙ Analyzing and design of retaining structures.∙ Soil bearing inspection for shallow foundation construction.∙ Evaluation of soil percolation rates for septic fields on unserviced subdivisions.∙ Preparation and review of field data using spreadsheets, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office. ∙ Supervision and training of field staff.∙ Technical report and letter writing outlining reviews and recommendations.
