I am currently in University and finishing my Bachelor Degree in Industrial Engineering at the University of Pretoria. I have a passion for the logistics, manufacturing, process optimisation, process analysis, data analysis, and engineering economics analysis sections of Industrial Engineering. I am a hard working and diligent person, who excels when a challenge is presented. I enjoy applying what I have learnt to real world problems, particularly when I completed six weeks of Undergraduate training at both Unilever at the Indonsa factory and at GUD Holdings. These opportunities allowed me to gain exposure to a working environment and allowed me to improve skills such as communication and team work. I have spent the last year being a mathematics tutor to an IEB matric student. I enjoyed this opportunity as it allowed me to refine my interpersonal and communication skills.I am particularly interested in the areas of logistics, process optimisation, manufacturing and engineering economics analysis and how these can apply to a business and industry at large. I find these areas exciting and know I would enjoy working in them.
