• Support the overall business and production to ensure future profitable growth for the company • Responsible for design, implementation, and management of new product development• Lead engineering team with weekly meetings, vacations, out of office, and customer visits• Mentor new engineering team members, technicians, and interns with projects and provide guidance • Serve as Production and Operation Manager when needed to coordinate workflow through manufacturing facility• Work closely with department leads to keep projects on track or inform them of any issues that may cause setbacks• Quote new products to customers and create cost estimates for management• Demonstrate strong organization, communication, leadership skills, and analytical decision making for company needs• Manage and control manufacturing for our four largest customers including castings for mining, aerospace, and pump manufacturers• Manage the mining program for our Marysville and Seattle, WA; Butte, MT; and Reynosa, MX facilities

• Process and expedite hardware throughout our investment casting process • Can take customers’ needs and expectations and merge those into success with design and investment casting knowledge• Work closely with management, tool makers, and teams on tool designs • Work effectively in a team environment with little to no supervision to start and complete projects• Develop and maintain standard work instructions and tech cards for step-by-step procedures and operations • Make sure parts are correctly assembled, poured, inspected, and meet final customer specifications • Responsible for expediting and qualifying master heat alloys and approval to release to production floor • Conduct quality assessments to ensure customer material specifications are met including chemistry, hardness, toughness, and proper heat treatment while coordinating with four facilities to meet customer deadlines• Managed high volume aerospace customer program with over 1,600 parts/month delivered in a timely cost-effective manner for the life of the program (3 ½ years)• Improved on time delivery by 38% for our biggest pump division customer since taking over in 2014 and continue to maintain high on-time delivery rates• Manage tool builds and rework as needed • Strong written, verbal, and customer technical interface on projects or updates • Strong organization and planning skills to complete tasks efficiently, and ability to adapt to, and embrace change at a fast pace • Proficient experience in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel for making reports, presentations, and spreadsheets for castings, costs, presentations, and management information
