Supervised all aspects of the 53 Area maintenance shop and directly supervised 39 Marines in Camp Services. Supervised and inspected all maintenance projects in the 53 Area of Camp Pendleton. Tasked and supervised the daily maintenance requirements for the 53 Area. Coordinated issues pertaining to grounds maintenance, facilities maintenance and Military Construction (MILCON) projects.Acted as the Area Commander’s representative and served as a point of contact for MILCON projects, ( over $164,000,000). Participated in 3 Pre-Constructions and Construction Design Workshops. Provided command input in to construction design workshops for new Communications building and new Bachelors Enlisted Quarters (BEQ). Provided coordination between contractors and tenant commands as MILCON projects progressed. Coordinated with local Rotary Clubs and supervised the repainting of the Regimental Theater and 4 flat top buildings within Camp Horno. Reviewed standing orders and provided input for new Regimental Remain Behind order. Oversaw the internal barracks movement of over 5,000 Marines within the Regiment and tracked personnel movement into and out of the camps BEQ’s. During flash flooding of Camp Horno in January 2010, organized reaction force to clear drainage and prevented flooding of Regimental Armory, preventing loss of over $1,000,000 in weapons and optical equipment. Kept command and Base officials apprised of the situation and supervised cleanup effort. -

Reduced down time of a critical test bench from 120 days to 65 days, resulting in the ready for issue of 22 more H-1 components. -
