Currently practicing as a Physical Therapist at Ivy Rehab, I am interested in the fields of orthopedic and sports medicine. As someone with inherent intrigue in human movement and rehabilitative services, I have found that these particular areas of expertise have exposed a niche within the realm of Physical Therapy itself that suits me well. Both are placing a growing emphasis on the interdependence and relationship between rehabilitation and strength and conditioning, and the role that these play in injury and prevention of musculoskeletal conditions. In adjunct with an increasing level of interest in evidence-based practice illustrated by many practicing clinicians within the field of Physical Therapy, I also have continued interest in research and in current literature guiding specific clinical practice guidelines. I plan to continue to use this information to continue to improve and develop my skillset as a practicing clinician with emphasis on facilitating optimal treatment for my patients'.
