Manager of Network Video Solutions - Canon Specialised Imaging (CSI)Ryan joined Canon Australia in January 2014 to head up the Network Video Solutions team.Ryan has a background in Project management and is PRINCE2 certified. He also has a certificate IV in Security Risk Management and certification in Security electronics. He has worked on and designed multiple large security and surveillance projects including; Data centres, power substations, prisons, courts, Police stations, casinos and retail environments as well as state and federal government infrastucture projects.Previous to Canon he spent several years consulting and working closely with industry leading Integrators, VMS Products and IP camera manufacturers around the world.Ryan has also involved in the development and design of new technologies for IP cameras and customised system design, as well as having significant experience with VMS and Camera shootouts in controlled environments in Australia, North America and Asia.Canon are an end to end camera manufacturer and one of the industry leaders in optical solutions. They have been a leader in IP technology for many years, both in print and consumer products. These two strengths combined put Canon in a very strong position with the future of IP Camera technology and video based solutions. Ryan's role as the product manager is to ensure he provide industry leading Products to clients, manages training and support, as well as help Canon works towards deep integration into third party software and products. In 2015, Ryan commenced working on an Industry leading Video analytic solution project with companies such as: IBM, Milestone Systems, Intelliscape, Cognitec & Imagus Facial recognition platforms as well as various other retail solutions.
