Everyone loves talking about themselves, right? Well, maybe not everyone, but since we're here:1.) I have learned that whatever you are a part of, your experience will always be better being a part of a team that works for each other2.) I am a late bloomer to digital content creation. I could never draw, sing, or dance (despite my best efforts), but I found photography, video production and graphic design as effective forms of creative outlets.3.) Actually, I take back the part about can't dancing. I AM a good dancer, but just a better photographer.4.) I have had a wide ranging set of professional responsibilities, but I've learned that one of my biggest passions is learning and mastering new challenges5.) I never thought I wanted to work in education. That is, until I started working with kids. It all started as a part-time gig as a baseball coach, which morphed into substitute teaching, which eventually pushed me towards completing the Transition to Teaching program at Wichita State University. 6.) Being a teacher has proven to me that one of the most rewarding things in life is helping others succeed. You can't help everyone, but you sure can provide an open and understanding attitude that allows for those to seek you out when they're ready for help7.) I hate failing, but understand the useful traits within failure. As a teacher, no two lessons are the same, no two classes are the same, no two students are the same. So for me, using data, experience, creativity and sometimes my own sense of humor (TONS of dad jokes), I've built a classroom environment that students enjoy coming to each day
