Prior to his career in electronics Ryan’s first endeavor was setting up PA systems for his garage band at age 13, followed by installing Pioneer and Craig car stereos at 16 for all the guy’s. Ryan’s interest in electronics continued through college where he preformed duties as the sound engineer and technician for the stage band, the jazz choir and theater,Ryan’s professional career includes over thirty years (32) of very strong and practical experience in all aspects of the consumer & pro electronics fields, from vehicle security to residential and commercial automation.In the early years of car audio competitions Ryan and industry guru Kevin Catalano dominated the awards throughout western Canada, reaching a pinnacle in 1987 when their systems won 11 out of a possible 12 awards in the CAN and IASCA unlimited class competitions. In 1996 Ryan was commissioned by ICBC to perform forensic examinations of security systems in stolen vehicles to identify fraud, eventually becoming an expert witness and ultimately qualified as an expert in the Supreme Court of BC.By 1997 Ryan began hiring, training and sub-contracting a workforce of technicians to facilitate the installations for virtually every electronics retailer and dealer in Vancouver, nationwide in Canada and the USA. To date RVT Systems have designed, installed, programmed & project managed everything from 5,000.00 home theaters, 100,000.00 home recording studios to 1,000,000.00 estate automation systems and has produced dozens of the industry’s top technicians, designers, programmers and engineers.After few years acting as a mobility consultant with Can Am & Advanced Mobility consulting the elderly and disabled by finding vehicle mobility solutions that suit their needs, and a consulting stint solving a companies operations difficulties Ryan has revitalized RVT Systems Inc, and has been qualified in BC Commercial arbitration as an expert in Home Automation.
