As a dedicated and experienced Paramedic with a proven track record of providing reliable, timely, and beneficial services during emergencies, I have over 10 years of experience in emergency medicine and a combined 15 years experience in the field of emergency services (police and fire). In my current role as Deputy Chief at Payette County Paramedics, I am responsible for executive management duties and assignments, including planning, implementing policies, evaluating systems, and coordinating with the County's Emergency Services Division. I work closely with the County's medical director, state/local/regional EMS Councils, local volunteer Fire/EMS providers, and other agencies. I am supervised directly by the Chief of Emergency Medical Services in Payette County. I supervised and trained new employees as a Field Training Officer. I recruited, monitored and trained volunteer reserves as the Reserve Coordinator. As the TacMed Team Leader, I designed and implemented medical trainings for the Payette County Special Response Team (SWAT). I also worked as a Critical Care Flight Paramedic with two private EMS agencies in Idaho. Over the past 9 years, I have also worked with high school students as an EMT Lab Instructor. I am adept at operating emergency medical equipment and knowledgeable about life-saving policies, directives, and procedures. I am skilled at properly evaluating the condition of patients and implementing necessary critical interventions. I am self-motivated, compassionate, and driven to continue to help save lives. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Law Enforcement with minors in Psychology and Spanish from Western Oregon University, and an Associate's degree in Emergency Medical Services from Central Oregon Community College.
