As Director of Assessment Programs I coordinate all state tests, as well as NWEA for all 22 SUCCESS Virtual Learning Centers. I collect and analyze student data to help guide SUCCESS VLC's school improvement plan. I seek staff feedback to identify areas of need and plan Professional Development accordingly.

As Director of one of our blended learning schools, I supervise teachers, as well as handle the day to day administrative duties. Beyond that I cultivate a culture in the school that encourages student success and engagement. This involves but is not limited to: helping students set academic goals as it pertains to their graduation, social media campaigns, virtual ways to acknowledge and celebrate student achievement, community outreach, effectively communicating with all stakeholders, exploring and utilizing new technology tools to create a better experience for students and teachers alike, among other things. SUCCESS Virtual Learning Centers empower students to take the reins of their education.

As an On-Line Full Time Faculty member at Grand Canyon University I managed four different classes simultaneously throughout the year. I update student records in CRM and am a critical part of the graduate team, made up of the Enrollment, Academic Counselor, and Instructor. I was active in class development, taught professional developments, and served on the Academic Affairs Committee. I continually collected classroom data, and proposed data based ideas to improve student and instructor experiences.

I advised and encouraged undergraduate and graduate students to set and work toward their goals, motivated them to stay on track to graduate, and enrolled them in appropriate classes to graduate. I was also a resource to them for any questions they had about a specific class or assignments.

I effectively taught the concepts and ideas regarding Social Studies and Language Arts. I collected student data to assess areas of weakness and to plan my instruction accordingly. Students set quarterly goals based on data collected from the quarterly benchmark assessments. I provided a classroom environment that was conducive to learning as proved through state standardized test scores. My lesson plans were original and creative focusing on the ability of students to synthesize information visually. I managed the legality and paperwork involved with teaching students on Individualized Education Programs (I.E.P). I served as head of the Student Council, and as Team Lead, I coached Basketball, and served on the Needs Assessment Committee to identify students that would benefit from additional educational services, I also developed and taught professional developments.
