Children learn many things “at their grandparents’ feet.” With a stockbroker grandfather, my experience might be a little unusual, but I learned to love the market and investing. As a result of his example and my own intellectual curiosity, I have followed market trends for years. My goal is to marry that interest with my academic training to seek opportunities in data research and/or investment analysis.Having recently completed a Bachelors in Business Administration (with a Finance Concentration) from Marist College, I have honed my skills in financial reviews, research and analysis, data analytics, and critical thinking through academic training, school projects, and multiple internships.My areas of study include Investment Analysis, Financial Statement Analysis, Corporate Finance, and Financial Markets and Management Strategy & Policy. For my Senior Project, I worked as part of a team that evaluated macro and industry trends to identify plans for a company to increase their profitability. On another project, I completed comprehensive research on securities for a personal risk profile. I found both of these projects rewarding and insightful.Over the course of multiple summer internships and jobs, I gained understanding of financial compliance within the Office of the New York City Comptroller, researched investment opportunities for wealth management at Bank of America/Merrill Lynch, and handled court communications and administrative support for the Brooklyn Defender Services.I am on LinkedIn to grow my professional network and learn more about opportunities that fit my skill set.
