I am a Talent Acquisition Specialist with over 2 year's experience, with a proven track record of meeting both company and client's objectives. I obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Studies (2:1) through Ulster University in 2019. Currently, I am employed as a Talent Acquisition Specialist at H&MV Engineering, in which I Specialize in the Operations Division in the Irish and European Region. My role involves sourcing and hiring the best candidates in the construction industry, in order to help contribute to the firm's continued success. H&MV are a leading Electrical and Civil Engineering Contractor who operate in multiple countries across the world. We are a specialist in large scale renewable projects, Substations, Battery Storage and Solar Farms. The firm places great emphasis on providing the correct platform and culture, for our employees to be successful and progress through their career. As the world is moving more towards renewable energy, our company continues to grow to meet these demands, so it is a very opportunistic time to come onboard with the firm. During my time with Fohntech Group, I was responsible for recruiting Electrical/Mechanical tradesmen and labourers for industrial projects across Ireland and Europe. I sourced candidates though the different social platforms, LinkedIn, Facebook, Indeed and Instagram and completed background checks on candidates. I then carried out interviews with clients for both temporary and permanent positions. With Fohntech I was responsible for sourcing work in Limerick. The project was an Analog Data centre, this led to me placing qualified electricians on the project.I represented the firm in Kerry College, Tralee February 2023 for a Careers Day. This involved me talking to students coming out of secondary school on why Fohntech was a great option to start your career with. This resulted in nine people starting their apprenticeship with the firm. I supported the HR Manager with various tasks as required I.E. Temporary layoff and investigations and coordinated training for operatives.
