Completed Tasks: - Investigating the feasibility of an automated microneedle applicator and develop a proof of concept design. - Modify a syringe driver to facilitate the pushing of an additional syringe for an experiment. - Develop a LabView GUI for a Smart Wound Dressing device. - Microscope photography of microneedle arrays to examine penetration damage. Developed Skills: - Research to find current state of the art. - Creativity to generate concept designs. - Application of scientific and engineering theory component specification selection. - Bench top assembly and use of common workshop tools for prototype building.
