I am utterly passionate about health and wellness. I want to translate this passion to the kids in our school's public education system. So much of what goes on in school's Physical Education programs drives children to be unappreciative of what it means to be truly healthy. I am striving to change this perception of our PE teachers and lead by example with a whole-health approach to teaching. This will include but is not limited to teaching Pilates, Yoga, Tai Chi, holistic health, and proper nutrition. Along with non-traditional methods, I'm going to include other vigorous forms of exercise such as Ultimate (frisbee) that can serve as an outlet for built up energy and distress in this crazy world we all live in!!
