It is a delight to work across HEINEKEN’s exciting & diverse portfolio, as the sole in-house UK Social Media Manager. I began this role at the start of the Coronavirus outbreak, which was… challenging! In particular, I made the best of this situation by building my skill set in crisis management & developing stakeholder relationships remotely. I have learned a huge amount from this role in a short space of time and really progressed in my understanding of using social media as a powerful tool to impact the wider business.

I have an instrumental role in managing the Social Media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube e.t.c.) of one of the world's largest bookmakers. With Coral having over a million followers/page likes, I have to ensure that my content is relevant, engaging and timely, whilst promoting the company and its brand values.• Highly successful campaign management from start to finish• Supporting a wide range of live sporting events across the U.K. & Ireland independently• Working alongside social media influencers and celebrities/sportspeople on various events, campaigns and filming (e.g. regular work with our ambassador Alan Shearer)• Day-to-day original content creation & live commentary on events• Aligning strategy with relevant departments, such as PR & other arms of marketing• Management & data analysis of the key statistics across all platforms• Helped develop our own show, #TheKickOff• Working within a highly regulated industry, in high-pressured situations• Built strong knowledge of a variety of sports and betting markets

An intense 4 month consultancy project working with a group of new individuals at Milestones Trust, auditing their communication system and improving organisational efficiency throughout their 100-strong workforce, as well as developing my skills, such as team working, consultancy, problem-solving, communication and initiative taking.

I have recently completed one year in industry working as the UK marketing co-ordinator for the world’s largest cable manufacturer, which required quick understanding of a completely new industry and product to a stage where I was comfortable enough to complete tasks for large-scale contracts and events. Key Skills and Achievements: As the UK marketing coordinator for the largest cable manufacturer in the world, my roles would interchange daily and I would regularly train myself to deal with the fast-paced high-pressure industry, from merchandise sourcing/purchasing/negotiation to event organising/promotion with large budgets – highlighting my versatility across the business world.I also independently conducted interviews for many candidates after my placement year ended.My role as UK marketing co-ordinator for Prysmian Cables provided me with very high levels of responsibility, as I would be trusted to plan, organise and implement various events such as the 100 year Pirelli celebratory events all across the UK (with large budgets), where I would travel to various locations to undertake meetings with managers and suppliers which I planned.This required high levels of problem solving and leadership as I would encounter various issues dealing with different types of people.
