Ryan enjoys pursuing his passion in computing through many fields of the information technology industry. His background revolves around network and systems engineering where he gained experience interning for Northwest Allen County Schools and Purdue University Fort Wayne. He continued to further his knowledge studying at Purdue University in West Lafayette, learning agile methods to development, exceptional written and social skills, database management, information security, and software development. He was also rewarded with a minor in psychology while conducting research into online trolling behaviors and looking for ways to apply this knowledge to mitigating social engineering risks. Outside of academia, Ryan has achieved the Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) certification and enjoys participating in capture-the-flag, hackathons, and networking conventions. Ryan also enjoys playing chess, hiking, Netflix, and video games when time allows.
